"I continue to be extremely impressed with the XO Professional 1600I Bb trumpet of my own design. The 1600I (manufactured by KHS in Taiwan) is simply the finest trumpet I've ever played, and believe me, I've played them all.
In December 2008 I was asked to be involved with the design, research, and development of a new XO series professional trumpet for KHS. In mid-September 2009 I tested the first factory run, and I have to take my hat off to the technicians who assembled these horns. They are consistent and fabulous."
